Boston businessman Charles Howland will pursue his legal case in the United States against Grenada Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell whenever he is no longer in office.
This was indicated a few days ago to a U.S court by an attorney representing Howland in the much publicised case against the Grenadian leader who has been in office for the past 13 years.
Howland is trying to recover monies owed to him by imprisoned Grenada former Ambassador Eric Resteiner, now serving a seven year jail sentence in the U.S on multiple mail and wire fraud.
Court documents filed in the United States claim that Prime Minister Mitchell collected U.S one million from Resteiner in the form of a bribe to make him an ambassador.
Dr. Mitchell has admitted receiving "approximately US$15, 000.00" from the famed international con-man to help with travel expenses on an official trip to europe.
