GULP might be silent but not dead.
Recently, its newly elected executive members were showcased in Morne Lounge as part of its all out fight to regain its momentum and capture the imagination of the youth the nation.
Under the Leadership of Reynold Benjamin GULP promises to bring back integrity to government and make Grenada a safe haven once again.
The Political Leader addressed the gathering of about fifty villagers dressed in their GULP Jerseys proudly listened as he expound the plan of the new labour.
According to him if the vision of the party was not shortened by a few power hungry persons, Grenada would have been years advanced.
The oil reserves he claimed is over two hundred billions dollar worth that crooked politicians with no vision allowed to put in the back burner.
With a GULP Government, its priority would be to continue to explore the possibilities of harnessing this natural resource for the development of the people of Grenada.
The Political Leader is convinced that the people has spoken and is deserving of a change.
Other spokespersons were the General Secretary, Collin Francis, Deputy Political Leader, Dr. Keith Braveboy, Mickey Monroe, Vice President among others.
The General Secretary, Collin Francis claimed that more focus should be given to our youth. Unemployment is creating havoc on the youthful population and must be addressed immediately. He called for the revamping of the education system with a new focus.
Education, he claims should seek to empower and liberate our people and not stifle their creativity and ingenuity.
He called on young persons to have a voice which he claims the GULP Government will give the youth of the nation.
With their involvement in the rebuilding of the party, young people would be designing their future and the Grenada that belongs to them.
GULP will continue its campaign in an attempt to regain its grassroots support and capture the interest of the youth.
