At the rate things are going with this Mitchell/Resteiner/Briefcase/Bribery Scandal and now the Bowen/Grynberg/Bribery scandal it would appear that none of these issues will go away as there are interested parties with a vested interest who will leave no stone unturned when it comes to exposing both the number one and number two men in the NNP administration.

I am sure fellows like Anthony Boatswain must feel a bit of a how in remaining in such poor company of political "misfits" that is now the order of the day. I am really sorry for him as by his company many are judging him.  I happen to know for a fact that he really does not need politics to subsist neither does he need the meager salary he is paid as a Minister.

The period to follow the results of the last general elections ought to have gone better for all winners on the NNP ticket since the "Little Man" had no hold over any of them since his administration was feeble enough to be toppled with a move from its ranks by anyone therein.

But that was not to be as each of them seemed to cower allowing the "Little Man" to assert himself over them when he did not have a leg to stand on.

Too much time has passed now for any of them to do anything about it as to a great extent their submission has rendered each of them "damaged goods". It must be true that the "Little Man" must have something over each of them that they are afraid if they turn against him he will release. What is it?

It is my understanding that when the Resteiner bribery expose was first released by Offshore Alert a couple of them expressed interest in resigning in order to preserve their names. I will not identify who they are for fear that there is any reprisals against them, but there is one unelected officer who lobbied them with a view to discouraging them from going that route.

Hence the reason this particular individual appears to be so powerful within the administration today. That individual is well grounded and is very independent to the point where I am sure he will survive in a post "Little Man" administration and even attempt to benefit from the NDC Boys.

That same individual is great "Pamasa" material for when the bell tolls hence my conviction that the individual will survive. I invite every Grenadian to keep checking the popular image site on the Internet "YOU TUBE" to see when the briefcase video will appear thereon.

If I were in the position of the "Little Man" I would have been nervous and my doctor would have had to move in with me or I move in with him/her in order to keep my blood pressure in check. Through this medium I have said many times that I do not wish the current administration any precipitous exit as that would be too easy.

I want for the people who voted for them as well as those who love to tell you they are not voting to catch their "nennen" while the entire period reflect a torturous experience for the "Little Man" who loves power at all cost.

Imagine an administration in office separated by a mere six votes from the official opposition and behaving as if they have so much support to want to pass a bill to give life to a draconian media policy.
Could you visualise any member of this dunce lot having any power to direct the police or officers of the State to come into the home of any media practitioner to turn it upside down in their effort to seize any information by way of document, video/dvd or audio cd which my contain damaging information about the said government which the people have a right to know?

Why all the draconian measures?  Only when people have something to hide they behave in that manner. On the question of having something to hide, wouldn't you have thought that if there is no authentic video tape reflecting the details of the allegation of Keith Mitchell receiving a US$500,000 bribe from Eric Resteiner well known international fraudster in his St. Moritz home in Switzerland, that Mitchell's deputy, himself the subject of a bribery allegation would not have seen the need to dispatch a battery of lawyers to go to a court in the U.S to attempt to prevent the release of the Resteiner video tape to Jack Grynberg.

All Grynberg is attempting to do is establish to a court in the US a consistent pattern of a certain behaviour by senior officials of the Grenada Government. I still say to all of you keep checking "You Tube" on the Internet for you may one day see this Resteiner Video tape there as I believe that is the plan for the whole world to have access to such action packed revelations.

In the meantime I want to know where is the official opposition in all of this? Are they continuing to remain in the slips to take catches off someone else's bowling? During the period 1999 to 2003 they were allowed to play that role because people were more inclined to uproot Mitchell than they were concerned about who replaced his administration.

This time around it is going to be different as the people who have created serious concerns for the NNP since 2003 elections are not necessarily going to operate on the same or similar level as they did during the 1999 2003 period. Peter, Tillman, Naz, and Prime and company need to get off their lazy butts and go out in the field and do the political work that is so badly needed.

It is better to be seen attempting to win power than to wait for power to fall into your hands from the sky. If you get the power easy then you would equally lose it so easily. A word to the wise is enough.

Why did it have to be former Opposition Leader - Michael Baptiste and his legal representative and former Senator Anslem Clouden to deliver information on the Grynberg situation which now cross trumps with the Resteiner briefcase video tape? That is seriously business as quite a number of people are beginning to have serious concerns about the lame duck culture of the NDC. Are they just plain lazy, complacent or not able?

The so-called "big announcement" last Sunday from Mitchell amounted to really nothing. It was just a matter of shuffling around the same pack of cards of inefficiency. It reminds me of doing nothing because you have nothing to shout about. Mitchell failed to move Boatswain from the Ministry of Finance in 2003 and succeeded this time by creating a new Ministry of Finance and Planning.

It is now more than likely that the move is really intended to lay the foundation for Patrick Antoine to take charge as the defacto Minister of Finance "all in the fullness of time". Patrick wants to be the Prime Minister of Grenada. As a matter of fact, the Prime Ministers of several other CARICOM States are wondering who really is the Prime Minister of Grenada - Keith Mitchell or Patrick Antoine.

Most of the times, Mitchell allows Patrick to speak at the level of the heads meeting on behalf of Grenada and sits there and keep his mouth shut on a number of important issues. In Barbados, the ministers in that government are already wondering whether it is Keith or Patrick that is the real P.M in Spice country.

Don't be surprised if Patrick Antoine runs against Naz instead of the young Horsford Lawyer or even the man without shame, Kennedy Roberts. But jump high jump low Keith Mitchell and his cronies have to GO! I can hear the jail doors banging!
