... in United Kingdom
Officials from the new Bacolet Bay Development and the Government of Grenada teamed up on March 8 to introduce the United Kingdom to Grenada's newest luxury development.
The UK launch of one of Grenada's most prestigious resort developments, Bacolet Bay, took place at the the Grenadian High Commission in West Kensington, London.
Bacolet Bay is one of the first of at least four new 5-star resorts being planned on the island and Bacolet Bay is already generating a wealth of excitement amongst locals, tourists and investors alike.
At the launch, member of the Board of Directors David Cox invited the many investors present to visit Grenada. He described Grenada as one of the most beautiful places he has ever visited.
He reiterated his sentiments made at the Grenada launch at Spice Island Beach Resort on February 5, 2007 and stated, " I believe that we have the perfect combination of views, secluded location and pristine Caribbean waters."
Bacolet Bay Resort and Spa offers an outstanding opportunity for both a financial and lifestyle investment on the "time share model".
Owners "buy-to-let" 5 Star villas, apartments or cottages which form part of a luxury hotel and enjoy four weeks personal use a year.
For the remainder of the year the accommodation will be available for hotel guests whilst the owners benefit from a share of the returns.
Working to augment the limited supply of high quality property and cultivate their country's tourism market, the Grenadian Government is in full support of the project.
Grenada's Minister of Tourism, Senator, Brenda Hood, has described Bacolet Bay as a project which will improve the quality of Grenada's tourism, stressing that it is one of the island's finest developments.
At the launching ceremony in Grenada, Minister Hood praised the developers of the project for their vision, noting, "this new five star resort and condominium development will be the envy of the region and the world".
"The stunning location and the quality of the architectural designs will make it a unique treasure that will entice persons from around the world to come to Grenada", she added.
