Cable & Wireless is pleased has launched eService to its customers. With the company's continued focus on enhancing customer service and meeting customers' needs, it says that eService is yet another step in this direction.
In speaking at the launch, Cable & Wireless' Product Executive for Internet & Data, Dylan Ollivierre said that "this is an excellent time to be a Cable & Wireless Internet customer as the company's offerings are steadily moving them towards cutting edge broadband capabilities and leveling the playing field for small businesses to compete on a regional and global scale through e-business solutions."
Cable & Wireless also announced the doubling of the speed and the reduction in the cost of High Speed Internet (Xnet).
eService is a new, powerful and innovative service which allows customers to view and download bill information as well as
pay their bills via the Internet.
Under the service, customers can also view their fixed line, mobile and internet bills, and use their credit card to make payment, as well as make payments using the major credit cards like VISA, American Express or Discover.
In a release issued, Cable and Wireless said: "All of these upgrades have been targeted to work together as customers will recognise that this is an ongoing process beginning with the upgrade of the Broadband Platforms at every exchange to provide MPLS capabilities, followed by an upgrade of capacity at each exchange allowing for more new Xnet customers and now an upgrade of every customers' internet package speed free of cost.
"his has now afforded customers island wide access to the internet. The reduction of the prices of Xnet makes the service more affordable and the doubling of customers' speeds now makes it even faster and easier to use the internet solutions offered by Xnet - High Speed Internet and by extension eServices.
Cable & Wireless customers can look forward to other aspects of eService in the near future.
These include: eTop-up Online which will allow prepaid customers to top-up their accounts over the web.
Customers will also be able to apply for products via eService, raise a query and report a fault among other services.
