A death in the family can bring out the best or the worst in people. Well, we can definitely confirm this, especially if the person's name is Miss Faithlyn.
Imagine Miss Faithlyn on her death bed and her son, Steadman, is making "deals" with the undertaker (Not La Qua neither Otway Bailey) to bury his mother, all because he owes the undertaker (Wilfred) some money.
If Wilfred gets the job to do the burial then Steadman's debt will be forgiven. And imagine the same Wilfred being angry with the nurses in the hospital and every one in the village all because they are taking special care of elderly, sick people.
He interprets this as a deliberate ploy to prevent the sick from dying and by extension, preventing him from getting "business".
Miss Faithlyn has not died as yet and the bacchanal has started. Well, just imagine what will happen when she passes on and her cantankerous daughter, Ethel, who resides in the USA, arrives in Grenada to declare war, on anyone whom she perceives is preventing her from acquiring her inheritance.
