A fatal vehicular accident on Sunday near to the Point Salines International Airport (PSIA) claimed the lives of two residents of River Road, St George's.
Dead are 22-year old Adrian "Smiley" Benjamin and 28-year old Jason "Shabba" Toussaint.
According to an official report from the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF), Toussaint, a mechanic by profession was the driver of Van Reg.
No. PN381 which reportedly lost control and collided with a parked van Reg No. PM454 resulting in the death of the two persons.
It is believed that five persons were travelling the van - two died on the spot, one was left seriously wounded and two others with minor injuries.
An alleged eyewitness claimed that he saw the vehicle catapulting in the air, twisting and turning in mid-air and each time it did so an occupant was thrown out of the van.
Delon Francis, one the passengers who sustained serious injuries, is presently a patient at the St. George's General Hospital in critical condition.

The other two persons in the vehicle, 17-year old Akim and 20-year old Shane sustained minor injuries. Toussaint's girlfriend, Vaughn Cobb told Grenada Today that the death of her boyfriend of seven years is still a shock to her.
The broken hearted young woman said that Toussaint was supposed to go to church with her as usual on Sunday but did not. She said that when he did not come back to the house for them to go and worship she called a taxi to take her to church.
She stated that shortly after returning home, her boyfriend's boss, John Mark came to the house and asked her to get dressed immediately and he started holding his head.
Cobb said he told her that he can't tell her what happened yet, and only did so when they were heading to the scene of the accident.
She indicated that her boyfriend was very gifted with his hand and that the love that kept them together will always be cherished. She described Toussaint as a very loving caring person whom she will miss dearly. This is the second Toussaint family member to die in a vehicular accident this year.
Toussaint was the brother of 24 year old Rockal Toussaint of Windsor Forest who plunged some 200 feet to her death in the White Gun area of, St Paul's in February.
Another death was also recorded on Sunday in the Grand Anse area. Dead is Dominic Wharwood, 53 year old, of the Limes, Grand Anse.
Police have charged Sherman Langdon, a 39 year old Mason residing at Mont Toute, St George's in connection with the death.
According to a police report, Wharwood was discovered by RGPF officers in the Mont Toute area lying on the ground in an unconscious state. He was rushed to the General Hospital where he was examined and admitted as a patient in a critical condition but later died.
An earlier police bulletin indicated that at 11:30 last week Saturday, Dominic as he is commonly known was at a shop in Mont Toute drinking alcoholic beverages when he fell off the shop step and died the following day.
Residents in the area said that he was struck with a wood behind his head. Police investigations are said to be continuing into both weekend incidents on the island.
