One of the most popular soca artiste among the ordinary "street youth", Marcus "Lava Man" Devenish has once again found himself on the wrong side of the law.
"Lava Man" as he is commonly known was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug last week Friday.
In August, the ace Soca artiste charged for the possession of an illegal Firearm and a quantity of marijauna.
Lava man was placed on bail in the sum of $8,000.00 with one surety but the charges were later dropped against him.
The soca bard who resides at Maloney Street, St George's was this time allegedly found with 4 grams of the illegal drugs in his possession.
Police are alleging that the calypsonian flushed a portion of the drugs down a toilet bowl in the face of a raid at his home.
Lava Man competed in this year's Soca Monarch competition and was a popular figure with hit song, "Behave Yourself".
It is widely regarded as a song with a double meaning in which he was asking Youths to behave themselves but with Youths responding, "We not behaving".
