Local police have slapped a charge of murder against 21 year old Hamandi Lewis of Boca, St George¹s for the death of Randy Isaac, a resident of Woodlands, St George's.
Lewis made his first court appearance before Chief Magistrate Patricia Mark on Monday and was remanded to the Richmond Hill Prison until his next court appearance.
Isaac's life was cut short last week Wednesday night after an altercation with Lewis about 11:00 p.m. in the Snug Corner area.
Details are very sketchy as to what caused the altercation between the two youngsters.
The teenager received fatal stab wounds to his back which resulted in his death.
Isaac was rushed to the St. George¹s General Hospital but was pronounced dead by Medical Experts just before midnight on the night of the incident.
The mothers of both the deceased and the alleged murderer are said to be in shock and pain at the tragedy.
The death of Isaac is the second tragedy to hit his family within the past two years.
His step-father died in September 2004 when Hurricane Ivan ravaged the island and battered most of the housing stock.
The house in which the step-father was living at Mt. Cuma in St. George North-east collapsed and he was buried among the rubbles.
The latest killing is the second murder to occur in recent months in the Snug Corner area of St. George¹s.
Meanwhile, police are said to be still looking for ³positive clues² that could lead them to cracking the shooting to death of Michael Yearwood in mid-September.
The slaying is believed to be drug-related with the deceased known in the underworld as a fast rising ³drug don² in the country.
