The National Bus Association and its members support the Grenada Trades Union Council (GTUC)) in the struggle against the five percent (5%) levy imposed by the Government.

Our members are quite dissatisfied with the present conditions, because of promises of concessions etc. made by Government which were never given. We already played a great part in giving back to our country in ways of bus fares etc.

Despite the massive increases in the price of fuel and tyres and at this time we think it is rather unfair to pay anything at this moment. The National Bus Association joins with the Grenada Trades’ Union Council on Friday 20th January, 2006, the day of protest, and we wish for a reasonable compromise.
