I believe so! According to the Chinese - this is the year of the dog. I sincerely hope that those pot-hounds and mongrels in Grenada do not start to celebrate thinking that because the Chinese are in town now, that this is their year.

I believe that this is the year they all will be put back into their kennels where they rightly belong. I further believe that the succeeding government will have the "cojones" to enforce the newly passed legislation pertaining to stray dogs which were allowed to roam our streets freely and end up in government or in advisory and Public Relations positions and on statutory boards as directors or chairmen, etc.

This is the year of lots of changes! This is the year of lots of new developments especially as the majority of people have come to realise their misgivings over the last ten years which have really plunged our nation into spiritual darkness.

I am convinced that things will change for the better as they have already started with our unions and other interest groups coming together to show these nincompoops who the bosses really are in Grenada.

There is no other person who repeated the following more than “Little Black” and the apparent Never-ending Nastiness in Progress (NNP): "Our people are our greatest resource."

This same resource has come of age to recognise their power and are blessed with the toughest of leaders who are prepared to stand up for what they believe in, in order to maim the once thought of as indestructible!

I am one who always believed that TIME is the enemy and the best friend. It was TIME which constantly ticked in moments of now which accumulated over the last ten years (almost eleven) to bring our people to the realization that Mitchell and his gang really have nothing to offer and that they must go!

It is TIME which made it possible for those elected on the NNP side to recognise that Mitchell cannot pull rank over them and therefore no non-elected member of cabinet could boss them around, like the "ooman" who speaks badly with a foreign accent wants to do, with the permission of "Little Black....".

It is TIME which allowed Boatswain to see that he held the key to the door which can keep Grenada out of turmoil over the 5% reconstruction levy which no one wants to contribute towards as long as Mitchell holds the reigns over the purse.

It is TIME which has allowed Grenadians to see that all “Little Black” is capable of doing is disgracing Grenada. It is TIME which made many of us realise that if Mitchell's family and friends could pay back the money they owe Grenada for the Call Center scandal, that the reconstruction levy is not necessary - and that is only one area.

It is TIME which will show each member of "Little Black's...." gang that the jail door has been banging loudly ahead of its final closure with "Little Black...." behind it, and that they do not want to be on that side of the door with him.

I understand that a raffle is taking place in the police force with a number of officers trying to get a transfer from their current posting down to Central Police Station on the Carenage. A lot of policemen vying for the day to come when they would have the chance to accompany “Little Black” and some members of the gang to the court house and then “Up the Hill” when the government changes.

Everyone understands by now that the Grenada they lived in BC (Before Clau-di-ASS) was much better than when he came and sent it to the abyss of nothingness with people assuming that it is right to t'ief to succeed and to hell with the honour which came while exchanging an honest day's work for an honest day's wage.

The catapulting of all leaders opposed to “Little Black’s nastiness and the NNP administration's distinction in corruption, into trusted positions must be envied indeed. Dr. Francis Alexis probably never thought his humility would have exalted him to the position of trust where his doctorate in Constitutional Law honestly obtained through hard work at Cambridge University in Great Britain would be depended upon so heavily in times like these when three of Little Black's many "jagabats" would have attempted to plunge the nation into some constitutional crisis.

I have always had the greatest time for Dr. Alexis and his knowledge which he never allowed to swell his head to any point of arrogance. I firmly believe that the day is coming for him to be given his rightful position as a true patriot. I want to agree with Sir Nicholas Brathwaite and Dr. Raphael Fletcher when they both said (separately and apart) that Dr. Alexis is arguably the most committed local politician to democracy in the strictest sense of the word.

This is a man who holds no brief for the new-look NDC of which he was a founding member. He has every reason to opt out of the process and allow them to fight their battle with "Little Black's....." morons all by themselves, yet for all the interest of democracy would not allow him to sit idly by and see Nimrod, Wildman, and Louison - take our constitution and play "Ole Mas" with it as if we were in the Wild West.

He deserves to be commended for coming out and adding credibility to the feelings of the majority on this issue. Grenadians in New York, London, Toronto and even Trinidad & Tobago - who send their remittances from abroad which help to keep our local economy afloat - are very upset at this latest regard for Peter David's Canadian citizenship as a foreigner!

They feel that the same goes for them, too! This goes to show how much "Little Black's....." eagerness to roast a corn, has actually made him burn a whole church. I know for sure he is not going to be able to get the likes of Pappy and others to raise much needed funds for the party outside there for any general elections again.

One of the things he did not realize is that people like Pappy are contemporaries of the same RMC elements within the opposition. I say no more! It would do him well to appreciate that he has among his ranks individuals who are more akin to the same RMC elements and in fact who are very close personally with leading members of the opposition who may just be strategically positioned to sell him out more than anything else.

When the next elections come (whether 2006 or whenever) and the NNP is left with two (2) seats alone in Parliament, we will see where these so-called new blood NNPites will end up.

I am sure that under the guise of genuine reconciliation they will find positions within the new order/structure for Grenada. Then is when I will be believed! I would not be surprised that Wildman and Nimrod are double agents, too as they know how to make the government look bad!

In parting, let me share some exciting news. I heard on Spice Capital Radio (90.1 on the FM dial) a promotion stating that Eddie Frederick is coming back from this Sunday on a programme called "Public Response". I understand that he might even be on during the week in regular five minute slots.

Grenadians who have come to recognize him now since his absence would get their fill from this individual who was never afraid to speak his mind on issues of national concern and importance. It was he, who showed up the NNP as a bunch of infidels. It is he who sacrificed his material progress to stand in the gap for Grenadians whose business community (save and except for a few solid ones) allowed Mitchell's scare tactics to breathe the fear of God in them to prevent them from advertising during his programme.

It was he who warned businesses that whenever there is instability and chaos in Grenada, they would be the first to be attacked as he has nothing to be looted. It is he who reminded everyone of Pastor Martin Niemoller's:"First they came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Social Democrats, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Social Democrat. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew, Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me."

Little Black has personally attacked members of the local media, doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, public servants, business owners, union leaders, farmers, ministers of religion, NGO's, Grenadians with overseas citizenship, and top civil servants, CEO's, the Chinese Government which he was forced to go to cap in hand......et al!

He did so with no dissenting voice until there was no one left to speak up for anyone except for George Worme, Chester Humphrey, the same Eddie Frederick who eventually left Grenada in the immediate aftermath of Ivan, and Paul Roberts of Spice Capital Radio who facilitated truth about the Grenadian situation.

I too look forward to the return of Eddie Frederick and his candid views of Little black and his ineptitudes! Can't you hear the jail door banging louder in 2006 and it is only six to seven days gone in the year? I can! And the Police waiting anxiously at Central for the day that is not long in coming.
