Another fatal vehicular accident has claimed the life of a toddler over the weekend.
Grief gripped the Fraser family on Sunday evening as news spread that 18-month old Rashad Frazer lost his life when the vehicle he was in overturned near to his home.
According to a report from the Royal Grenada Police Force, the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on the La Femme Public Road in Perdmontemps, involving a Tracker Jeep, Reg. number PW509, driven by 42-year old Jemma Redhead.
There are reports that Redhead was driving the vehicle down hill with three occupants -- Rawlin Frazer, 3, Ronisha Logie, 9 and Rashad when she lost control of the vehicle which ran onto a bank on the left side of the road and overturned.
Eyewitnesses said that the body of Rashad was thrown out of the vehicle in the process the toddler received a head wound resulting in his brain being splashed all over the public road.
Redhead was clearly traumatised by the accident and was seen clinging onto the dead baby, refusing to let it go.

The ambulance reportedly left the scene with the female driver strapped together with the dead baby.
All occupants of the jeep were rushed to the St. George’s General Hospital for medical treatment.
However Rashad was pronounced dead on arrival by a medical doctor, while the other three victims were admitted as patients.
Police investigations are continuing into the cause of the incident.
