A Grand Mal mother is prepared to put out money to help police apprehend the killers of her 30-year old son, Michael Yearwood.
A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone giving information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of the person/s responsible for slaying of Yearwood just over two months ago.
The tearful mother, Bernadette Yearwood came into the office of Grenada Today on Monday to make the announcement of the reward that is on offer for the capture of the killers.
The mother told this newspaper that she is still trying to cope with the loss of her third son who was found murdered in his car on the Ballast Ground (Lagoon Road) on September 21.
The family and friends of Yearwood who continues to mourn the loss of their loved one are not prepared to rest until the person/s responsible for his death is brought to justice.
The mother is appealing to the general public with information about the killing to come forward with the information that can lead to the apprehension of her son's killer/s.
Speculation is rife that the deceased was gunned down in a drug-related incident.
Within days of the killing, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) had detained three persons for questioning in connection with the murder of Yearwood, however no one has been charged with his murder.
The body of Yearwood was discovered seated behind the steering wheel of his white Toyota Sprinter car which its engine still running.

The murder is said to be still under police investigation with an Inspector of Police heading the team of investigators.
Police are said to be working on several theories as to how Yearwood was lured to the Ballast Ground and executed.
