Cable and Wireless Grenada has launched a new Bmobile promotion dubbed 'Ride in Style' in which one lucky person can win a brand new Land Rover sponsored by SunMotors.

Officials of Cable and Wireless launched the promotion to media practitioners and curious onlookers last Friday at C&W Carenage Office in St. George's. C&W Corporate Communications Executive Simon Green disclosed that the promotion started over one year ago under the name "Switch On."

He pointed out that the promotion had to be postponed after the passage of Hurricane Ivan last year. The category three hurricane which almost crippled the country, destroyed almost all Cable and Wireless Land Lines around the island.

Green indicated that persons who entered the promotion before the hurricane still have a chance to win, as their names have been re-entered into the competition. C&W Product Executive Shervon Munroe revealed that for a person to be eligible to win the Land Rover, they have to be a Cable and Wireless customer.

He pointed out that once a person purchases a $40 phone card they will be asked to fill out an entry form that will give them a chance to win the grand prize. Munroe said that post paid customers also have a chance to win, as they will be given an entry form to fill out, when they pay their bills in excess of $40.

Persons with entry forms have until April 10, 2006 to bring in all their entry forms. The grand draw is scheduled for April 17, 2006. Green pointed out that there will be some campaigns before the draw, in which persons have a chance to win prizes.
