All of us face disappointments from time to time.

No matter how much faith we have or how good a person we might be, sooner or later, something (or somebody!) will shake our faith to its foundations.

There are many people who fall in this category right here in Grenada. Yes! Those who remained loyal to "Little Black...." up to recently, who have finally started to see him for 'what' he really is.

The massive disappointments people are feeling regarding "Little Black...." have to do with the widespread perception that he is as real as a '$3' bill.

His obsession with power and lust for money and his refusal to regard the position he holds as an honour bestowed on him by the people (all be it questionably) to serve and not to master, seem to bother the dickens out of many who have recently started to fall out of his camp.

Recently, a certain man, actually called me to lay his cards on the table - especially in light of the recent rubbish with Peter David and his Canadian citizenship and the way the Speaker of the House - himself a lawyer and a former Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs - wants to demand an answer for an issue which ought to be addressed by our Court and not Parliament.

This man said to me quite clearly that he is prepared to support any move to shut down Grenada by any of the collective interest groups should this matter reach where the opposition MPs decide not to pay his ultimatum any mind and results in their suspension from the House.

What I find very interesting about this is the fact that this individual is an illustrious businessman - one of the very few who has put his money where his mouth is - whether in good times or bad.

Mitchell's cookie has crumbled so fast since Ivan, it isn't funny.

Notwithstanding all his effort and zeal to "jail-proof" himself - "the fullness of time" that Dr. Fletcher spoke of in 1998 closes in on him.

We cannot look at the continued state of uncertainty at home in isolation of the law of reciprocity. You give, you get in return. You don't give, you don't get in return.

The carelessness of the many Grenadians, including the imposter at the Electoral Office, to accommodate this band of thugs led by none other than an element of poor character dating back to the time when he used to t'ief the meat out of his father's plate, (so he mudder told us on television) to the time when he misappropriated the funds of the Grenada Shipping Agents in the early 70s, must have its consequences.

Don't forget the old saying "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".

If we use the present to take stock of ourselves in respect of who we allow to hold public office, we surely will become a better society.

No wonder today, a low level individual like Elvin Nimrod could hold the office of Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs and ask question in Parliament to see who is qualified to sit in the House.

That is an easy question to answer as I would think that a man who raped a woman during extended work hours while preparing a document for presentation in our Parliament is no man to be in the House.

That same woman had to flee for her life to the point where she had to seek asylum in the US and was so granted.

Any woman who can attract a question of clarification as to who put the dynamite and the gasoline in "she mudder" coal pot which eventually blew up on her leading to her death, has absolutely no right in the House. I will stop here - and those are only two!

Bubbul artists have no right in Parliament. But when the people of Grenada galavant and jump and wave behind scum bags for politicians, who according to Sen. Chester Humphrey, have absolutely no right in even a race to the outhouse far less to be running for elected office, they must be prepared to pay the price.

I am not surprised that they are now eating the bread the devil kneed. Grenada's international image cannot be expected to be any good if "scums" are in charge of making policy for us!

We all know the saying that if a crook is in charge then only crooks will come calling.

I can see two major issues taking down Mitchell's diabolical administration. The first one is this Canadian Citizenship issue with Peter David (Grenada's most popular politician to date), and the 5% Reconstruction Levy - this corrupt administration wants every working Grenadian to pay.

No working man except drug pushers and thieves should willingly contribute a cent into any coffers that Mitchell has authority over.

Let him and his administration repay all the squandered millions on his family's Call Center which went bust even before it started.

Let them be responsible for all the guarantees which were drawn down by shady investors like Miller and the Hog Island/Mt. Hartman development.

Let them bring to the treasury all the money received for diplomatic positions held by world famous fraudsters like Viktor Kozeny, Eric Resteiner, Van Brink and to a lesser extent that Kapella man who helped identify the Mercedes Benz "Little Black...." is driven around in.

I am confident that we can find enough money from those sources to help reconstruct Grenada for the next five years.

In fact, we can find enough for the second five years in the areas of our wasted scarce resources on judgments won by Richard Duncan, Brian Francis, Dorset Charles, the Belgian bank, Dipcon, et al.

I am glad to learn of the completion of the USAID project in Grenada and thank them for their better judgment to come into Grenada to manage their funds so that it could reach its intended destination.

I want to underscore what Her Excellency Mary Kramer - US Ambassador who delivered some sterling words at the official closing of USAID's programme here recently, as follows: "Just as our own assistance program was made effective by diligent auditors, Grenada's economic future will be served by a strong government emphasis on transparency and good governance."

That does not translate to "Little Black...." Now offering us any questionable auditor along side any future reconstruction effort.

While in conversation with a certain senior diplomat resident in Grenada, I gleaned that the entire international community is wary of the Mitchell administration.

The country that this one represents would like to give more to Grenada, but feel that when the people finally grow to recognise that the little they receive by way of help from the international community is as a direct result of their poor choice in the exercise of their democratic right, they will correct that and according to that diplomat: "We will be there to help!"

The Grenada Trades Union Council's recent Resolution which they adequately circulated must not be taken lightly at all. I smell trouble for the Grenadian Leader and his brigands.

The atrocities of the last ten years hinge on corruption and bubbul for the most part highly flavoured by "Little Black's...." vindictiveness, has seen the marginalisation of many of our skilled and able people.

"Little Black...." must understand that he cannot step into the shoes of Grenada's two most charismatic leaders - i.e. Eric Gairy and Maurice Bishop. Gairy operated in a very despotic manner while Bishop's regime operated a totally police state.

Their administrations went out in disgrace - regardless of how may guns they had over the heads of the people.

When the people of Grenada are good and ready to respond to the nastiness many of whom have been an active part of, they will do what they have to do to rid themselves of Mitchell and his gang.

All in the fullness of time - I can really hear the jail door banging.

2006 will be an interesting year for our people as a major surprise awaits "Little Black...." and his crew. Hugh Wildman - you better take cover - as your time will soon come.

For what it is worth, allow me to wish you a Merry Christmas and ask you to lift your level to face the uncertainties of 2006 and beyond.

Every day brings us closer to hearing the jail doors bang loudly in Grenada for Little Black and them- Badang! Bang!
