The officers visited Wharf Lane, Grenville, where they observed the body of Desmond JOSEPH, 46 yrs, unemployed of River Sallee, St. Patrick's, lying face down on the sand in shallow waters.

He was wearing a multi-colored shirt and a pair of long black pants. According to a police report, the lawmen were notified of the presence of the body by a Fisherman of Soubise, St. Andrew's.
