Members of the Financial Intelligence Unit have detained Reynold Benjamin, a local lawyer, who is believed to have been a member of the A Team, years ago, and who boasted openly at the No. 2 High Court that he had no skeletons in his closet. Benjamin, who in recent time, took the helm of the Grenada United Labour Party, was picked up by FIU members around 8.30 on the morning of Wednesday 28 th May 2008. Benjamin returned to Grenada from Trinidad in the mid eighties.
This development comes against the background of continued investigations by the Financial Intelligence Unit into the operations of Capital Bank International Limited – In Receivership
