One nurse trainee are among three persons still hospitalized following Tuesday morning’s vehicular accident in Gouyave St John involving public mini bus HV521on route to St George’s from Victoria.

According to information reaching the Grenada INFORMER the white Toyota, carrying the name “Mystic” lost control having develop great speed down hill heading into the town of Gouyave. That made it difficult for the driver, Lambert Braithwaite alias (Moscoast), to negotiate the winding road ahead and banged into a roadside wall.
One eye witness said he saw what appeared to be a side of the break pad fell to the ground just before the impact but could not say whether that was responsible for the accident.
Although there were no fatalities, most of the passengers in the vehicle had to be rushed to the general hospital, having sustained some form of injury.
Report from the hospital revealed that eight persons were seen at the institution, five of whom were discharged after close observation by medical experts.
Sources told the INFORMER that three of the persons still in hospital have been listed in stable condition, among them nurse trainee Jerian Andall who was sitting in the front of the vehicle at the time of impact, Kirinsky Joseph also seated to the front and driver Braithwaite.
Up until press time Tuesday, the full extent of injuries to those persons was not known and so too the true cause of the accident. However the police have given the undertaking that they are continuing their investigation into the matter.
