...... one granted bail
Following a night of forcible, erotic stimulating sexual pleasure on a grave at the Grand Bras cemetery with no respect for the dead, the victim a thirty six year old woman of Moyah in St. Andrew and three men came before the Grenville Magistrate’s Court last Thursday.
However the victim’s presence at the Court was one of having the men prosecuted for raping her, while the accused men were each charged with rape. A charge of rape was read to one Royden Matthew Aberdeen of Grand Anse, St. George, Marvin Joseph of Grand Bras, St. Andrew, and Kinley Mitchell of Paradise St. Andrew by Magistrate Jerry Seales, but the men were not allowed to plead as the matter was an indictable one.
One of the men was granted bail to the sum of fifteen thousand dollars, as Ms. Foster from the Ciboney Chambers showed the Court grounds why her client should be granted bail. The other two accused were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until the 27 thMarch. The incident is reported to have occurred after the laugh-a-ton entertainment at moon light city about two Saturdays ago.
The victim is said to have been given a lift with the men in their transport to her home but past her destination. The next stop for the men was the Grand Bras cemetery where it was no more laugh-a-ton but a time of alleged sexual pleasure, which later landed them before the Court.
