A thirteen year old female student of one of those secondary schools in St. Andrew was reportedly sexually assaulted by four male students last Monday evening.

The victim who was said to be in shock and traumatized as a result of the incident, was later rushed to hospital in a critical condition where she was medically examined by a doctor, and later underwent medical treatment. It is not clear as to exactly where the incident occurred but according to a source, it is believe that the incident occurred hours after school somewhere in the vicinity of Telescope.

The traumatized student was first taken to the Grenville police station where the matter was reported and later to the Princess Alice hospital.

However up to press time on Tuesday there was no report as to whether any of the accused was arrested by police, although it is said that this is the second time the same incident occurred to this victim.

It is understood that the department of Social Service in Grenville is aware of the incident and has already made attempt to play their role in the matter. Meanwhile about three weeks ago in the Mt. Horne area a young lady was reported sexually assaulted in the public by a villager in the presence of a number of other persons. The accused man later received a severe beating by a policeman, who is said to be a relative of the victim. The accused has since been arrested and charged by police for the offense.
