.... Grand Anse Beach
Grenada ’s Minister for Tourism , the Hon. Brenda Hood , is in high praise for a report out of London which has rated Grenada’s Grand Anse Beach as one of the best in the world. The report, which was published in today’s London Telegraph, cites Grand Anse Beach as being, one of the world’s best and “ probably the most suitable in the world for families.”
Minister Hood said that the Ministry of Tourism has taken steps to develop the Grand Anse Beach as a unique selling point for Grenada ’s tourism. She noted that even more development will be undertaken in 2007, as Grenada seeks to position itself as an exclusive hideaway destination. She said that this news which comes just months before the hosting of the 2007 World Cup, will no doubt attract many more visitors to Grenada . The Minister believes that Grenada ’s rapidly developing tourism industry will continue to grow in 2007 and she expects more and more persons around the world to give Grenada the attention that it deserves.
