
Cable & Wireless donated a cheque for $500 and an iPod to the most outstanding student in the field of Micro Computer Technology graduating from TAMCC last Wednesday. Clint Alexis who topped his class was the recipient of this award. He expressed his thanks to Cable & Wireless as he received the award from Marketing Communications Manager, Sheldon Keens-Douglas.
In addition to this award all five hundred and thirty eight (538) graduates were given vouchers for fifty percent off one month rental of Xnet Broadband Service and 25% off any regular priced bMobile handset.
Management of the TAMCC was high in praise to Cable & Wireless for the generous gift to the students.
This comes at a time when the company is preparing to award scholarships to 15 students entering secondary school through the Cable & Wireless Scholarship Programme now into its fifteenth year.
