Cable and Wireless has contributed towards the successful hosting of a one day seminar for Men organized by the Men’s Fellowship Department of the New Testament Church of God St. George North East District.
The seminar was held at the Red Cross building, Lucas Street on Saturday 26 th April under the theme Above and Beyond Limitations. Lunch for over 75 participants was provided by Cable & Wireless. In addition to this Chief Executive of Cable & Wireless, Mr. Ian Blanchard was one of the presenters at the seminar. Mr. Blanchard spoke on the title subject “Above and Beyond Limitations”
One of the main organizers of the seminar Mr. Francis Lawrence presented Mr. Blanchard with a Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution to the workshop. Mr. Lawrence said” Mr. Blanchard’s presentation was quite meaningful and challenging to all of the participants and we are grateful that you were able to assist us in this regard.” He also thanked Mr. Blanchard for the monetary contribution made to the Seminar by Cable & Wireless, saying that with more assistance from corporate entities like C&W, the Church would be able to assist more with the quality of life in Grenada.
Mr. Blanchard noted that “Cable & Wireless will remain committed to being a significant part of programmes which are enriching to the people of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.” He also added that he was pleased to be invited to present to the group and is always willing to give of his personal time wherever he can to such exercises”.
