A delighted Centenarian, Lionel Ferguson of Gouyave is the recipient of telephone service for life compliments Cable & Wireless.
Mr. Ferguson celebrated his 102 nd birthday on April 25 th. A ceremony was held in his honour at the Anglican Church, Gouyave. After the Church Service and Birthday Party a fruit basket and voucher entitling Mr. Ferguson to free telephone rental for life was presented to him by Josephine Walters, Marketing Communications Executive, Cable & Wireless.
An overwhelmed Mr. Ferguson expressed profound thanks to Cable & Wireless saying “I have friends and family who call me all the time and I enjoying talking with them. My telephone service is important to me and I thank Cable & Wireless for this gift.”
According to Marketing Communications Executive Josephine Walters, “Cable & Wireless is pleased to be able to keep Mr. Ferguson in touch with his loved ones. As soon as we learnt of his telecommunications needs, the wheels were put in motion in order to facilitate him. Keeping people in touch is our business and Mr. Ferguson has certainly earned the right to no longer have to worry about his telephone service.
