At the official opening of the Bruce Street Retail Store, Mr. Cyrus Williams, winner of the “Cool Summer Days” Grand Prize of $10,000 was presented with his cheque. The “Cool Summer Days” promotion afforded customers double benefits: bMobile customers who talked for six minutes anytime between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm became eligible to talk for free for the rest of that day. In addition they automatically qualified to win prizes every week during the 5 week campaign. There were a total of nine winners. The prizes were two $500 vouchers from Real Value IGA Supermarket, two $500 vouchers from The Grenada Breweries, two $500 vouchers from Rugged Street, two variety packs from Grenada Distillers and the Grand prize of $10,000.
