
Shirley
Simpson was born in Grenada, migrated to Canada in 1981, and
has been actively involved in music until today.
Shirley
wrote her first song titled "Gethsemane" in 1995.
From there she has been travelling throughout the Caribbean,
Canada and the United States.
Shirley
has since produced and released five albums, her most recent
release titled "Shirley Simpson still holding on".
Shirley can be heard on Canada's daily telecast 100 Huntley
St.
With her
quiet dignity the Grenadian born beauty, now wife and mother,
has delighted the hearts of many around the globe, her songs
have become woven in our hearts. Shirley celebrates our important
milestones as God's chosen, with her anointed songs.
It uplifts
us, and bring us hope, her sweet smooth touch of Country is
what reaches deep into the hearts of man.
Shirley
attended St Rose Convent secondary school in Gouyave St.John's.
Shirley is well known in her homeland Grenada, she has traveled
and raised funds for churches in Grenada quite often. She was
involved in a fund-raising concert in Canada for two of the
churches in Grenada that were damaged by Hurricane Ivan; Chantemelle
Pentecostal, and River Road Pentecostal. The pastors of these
chrrches (Pastor
McGuire and Pastor Allen) were in attendance.
