Eward
began as a singer in 1995 using his nickname "Buddy".
In that year he participated and won the Calypso Competition
in the Grenada Arts Festival, with teh rendition - "Signs".
In
1997, Buddy was a finalist in the Grenada Soca Monarch Competition
and placed 12th singing "Drunk & Disorderly".
From that success, Buddy continued writing and recording socas
up to this day.
Eward is also a writer who composes his own selections. He has
written lyrics for other soca artists as well; "Free
up" for Super Terri, "Don't Stop"
and "Vitamin D" for Gia.
