Carriacou & Petite Martinique 2000 Inc. (CPM 2000 Inc.) is a non-profit 501-C (3) organization based in Brooklyn, New York. The organization was established June 16 th 1996 with the primary goal of providing charitable assistance to our brothers and sisters from Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique.

Since our inception, we have made significant progress in this regard. Our valuable contributions have certainly made a difference in our community. In addition we have worked with other organizations to help our youths develop their academic and athletic skills while simultaneously helping them to understand their rich culture.

To do this , we hope to mobilize our community based on our traditions and culture of “lending a helping hand” to donate to the Carriacou and Petite Martinique Development Fund. Our goal is to have no less than 2000 of our brothers and sisters worldwide contributing at least 10.00 per month or $ 120.00 per year to The Fund. C PM 2000 Inc. pledges to spend every cent on some of the pressing needs and deficiencies facing our community. Giving and helping is part of who we are as a people and CPM 2000 Inc is simply attempting to build the infrastructure to ensure this continues for those of us living abroad. The members of CPM 2000 Inc are committed to this cause and we are ready to make the necessary sacrifice for this worthy endeavor.

Donations of sports equipment totaling $ 6000.00 to all the schools of Carriacou and Petite Martinique .

Donation of Computers to the Library and The Carriacou Historical Society .
Donation of Hooked on Phonics ( $ 5500.00) to all the schools on Carriacou and Petite Martinique
Donation of Projectors to the Reading Program in Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Joint Sponsorship with Kayaks Social Club of the “Kids Are People Too” program in NY.
Sponsorship of the annual Carriacou and Petite Martinique 2000 Spelling Bee Competition.
Sponsorship of the Carriacou Under 19 th Cricket Team annual trip to the Sir Garfield Sobers International Tournament in Barbados.
Appropriation of $ 15,000.00 to Bishop’s College towards the construction of a Tuck Shop.
Awarded two $500.00 grants to two young women on pursuit of a college education.
Secured 100 Computers from The MTA Bridge and Tunnel which were donated to all the schools in Carriacou and Petite Martinique as well as several civic organizations.
Implementation of a policy of monitoring, auditing and accountability regarding all our projects. Feedbacks, reports and inspections are necessary components of this new policy.
Donation of 18 computers to Boca School in Grenada
Participating member of HealthCap, providing free annual healthcare services to the people of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique and Canouan
Providing assistance to affected residents of Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique after the passages of Hurricane Ivan and Emily.
Donation of Multifunction (Fax, Scanner, Printer) to Bishop’s College.
Sponsorship of weekly broadcast of news with Rawle Paterson live from Carriacou.
